Hail Transport PH: A New Transport Network Vehicle Service Revolutionizing Ride-Hailing in the Philippines

Hail Transport PH, a new Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS), was officially launched on Monday, March 10. During the launch, Atty. Anton Inton, Head for Community Relations and Development, explained the concept behind "Hail." He stated that the term "hail" means "to call up," emphasizing that the app’s core difference lies in its focus on providing safe and reliable transportation. He highlighted that drivers and commuters would be the key factors in the app's success.

"We have a lot of options to cater to our clients, and we aim to provide proper service, not just addressing the gaps in the market," said Atty. Inton. He also emphasized that Hail Transport PH intends to compete with market leaders by offering competitive rates. Furthermore, incentives will be provided to drivers on a weekly or monthly basis to boost their income.

As a new player in the market, Hail Transport PH is committed to complying with government regulations, including the mandatory 20% discount for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs). The company plans to provide a guaranteed income for 500 drivers initially, with a target of 10,000 drivers in the future, after they comply with all requirements and regulations.

Currently, Hail Transport PH has onboarded 500 to 1,000 drivers, and once they meet the necessary government requirements, they will be deployed. The app also includes a 24-hour monitoring system to ensure safety and prevent any potential criminal activity. Hail Transport PH will bear the cost of the 20% discount for senior citizens and PWDs, requiring drivers to register the appropriate IDs.

"Drivers who fail to comply with the 20% discount policy for senior citizens and PWDs will face disciplinary action," Inton warned. He also mentioned that there will be cash-based transactions and that options would be available for those who lack access to banking services.

Engr. Enrico Tamayo, Chief Operating Officer, added that Hail is a 100% Filipino company, targeting the NCR, Region 3, and Region IV. "We aim to coexist with the existing market rather than directly compete with it," Tamayo said. He emphasized the importance of providing drivers with sustainable income and opportunities for those with cars sitting unused in their garages. Additionally, Hail will offer a luxury service where customers can pre-book weekly or monthly rides in advance.

Tamayo also pointed out the challenges of managing luxury vehicles used by proxy drivers, especially when serving high-ranking government officials or VIPs. He stressed that the company is focused on the character and attitude of its drivers, as these qualities will directly impact the reputation of Hail. However, Tamayo made it clear that drivers would not be restricted from using other ride-hailing apps.

Michael Delos Santos, Director for Business Development, shared that the Hail app has been in development for three years. "Although we expect some glitches, we are actively working to address them," Delos Santos said. He assured that the company is diligent in monitoring its drivers to prevent any issues with "proxy drivers." The company is also exploring innovative solutions used in other countries, such as drivers keeping folding bikes in their trunks.

To impel for 2.2-Trillion Peso free Wi-Fi link of 10 000 schools, 42,600 barangays nationwide-Former Governor and Congressman Atty Leandro Verceles

MANILA -- One time  Governor and Congressman of Catanduanes Atty. Leandro “Lee” Verceles, Jr. on Friday (March 7) declare that if he is choose to be a Senator in the May 12, 2025 national elections, he would suggest a legislative to calculate and  design a Department that would oversee and manage the free Wi-Fi link of the 10,000 schools and 42,600 barangays nationwide with the employment of AI (Artificial Intelligence) which would need a funding of P2.2-trillion pesos

Verceles announce that a government corporation may contribute the application of the massive project.

For the time of the discussion in  Tinapayan Festival Media Forum lead by NPC Director Benedict Abaygar, Jr. Verceles spoke  that he is managing for Senator in the May 12 midterm elections however he would like to label  the obstacle on wide spread corruption, and would guarantee the way in to free world-class education with the utilization of the advance technology.

Verceles admitted that he stopped in politics for many years after his government service for 40 years, including nine years as Congressman and six years as Governor, and he is data-driven.

The online teacher should be one is to one from the one teacher is to 45 students in the traditional classroom were Wi-Fi (Wireless Finity) is free.

We have a one teacher is to one student even if would take about 10 years to make it.

The problem of traffic is also one of the priorities of Verceles, saying that he would make a system where if there is rush hour it has to be done through an app with 100 points every week.

Verceles would push for 20 kilometers per hour without traffic on major thoroughfares in the country.

There will be incentives and perks in using the app which will be introduced by Verceles.

The app will be pro-poor and not pro-rich which has been already used in other countries in the world.

There will be no traffic, no congestion and everything will be right by using the app.

The access on free world-class education is geared towards multiplying professionals in the Philippines.

It would seem that politicians would be favorable to ignorant people so that they can manipulate the people, Verceles said.

He believes that the Filipinos can make it.

Verceles admitted that he could not make it by himself alone and he urged all politicians to join and participate in the “New Direction Movement”.

He assured that if everything is done with the New Direction Movement, all the problems of the country will be addressed appropriately.

One laptop per student and out-of-school youth and the 42,600 barangays nationwide where each barangay will have its own terminal.

He cited the United States and Japan who have the same existing technology.

“Poverty is not an excuse,” Verceles said, adding that “We could be number 1 in education in the world”.

He said that 85% of the Filipino electorates will vote for him as Senator in the May 12 midterm elections, if they read and understand his platform of government through the New Direction Movement, where 50 million copies of the flyers will have to be printed for nationwide distribution.

“Techie in the Senate” is the political slogan of Verceles, citing the benefits and income derived from the E-Commerce Act.

The second phase of his campaign is through the AI (Artificial Intelligence).

According to Verceles, the vast connection between the 10,000 schools and the 42,600 barangays would require a huge funding of US$2.2-trillion which he would source from China or the World Bank.

“You are either in or out of the New Direction in this upcoming election. I’m inviting media on this,” Verceles said.
